In three days training course, two days on SPSS and one days for STATA will be covered. Overall the Syllabus will cover overview, interface, data view and variable view, how to enter data, how to import external data, how to clean, edit data, how to transform variables, how to sort and select cases, how to get descriptive statistics and examining Summary statistics using SPSS/STATA.

The focus will be on:

SPSS

· Introduction of SPPS

· Data Entry

· Import/ Export of Data

· Descriptive statistics

· Regression analysis in SPSS

· How to interpret results

· How to detect problems

STATA

· Introduction to STATA

· Data entry, descriptive statistics

· Time series data regression

· Panel data regression

· Interpretation of results

· Detailed session on how to select sample size

Installation, Output Export, File Import & Export, Database.

Please note that TDN regularly conduct SPSS training workshop, SPSS course is basically covered through practical work using SPSS software on Laptops (to be bring by participants). In this three days training, the trainer covers above mentioned modules both theoretically and practically. The data for practical demonstration is given to each participants in which they incorporate and interpret the data after covering the mentioned topics. Before teaching above SPSS and STATA applications, Trainer broadly covers the essential statistical concepts that are used for data analysis in SPSS and STATA, which helps delegates to understand the results for valuable interpretation of data. Thus, in short this course focused on harassing the SPSS and STATA software by practical demonstration by each participant, which helps delegates to flourish their data analysis skills in their profession.
